I won't be able to check-in on Wednesday by 8 PM. What should I do?

Although it is important to check-in the day prior to the event, we understand that something might come up that may prevent that from being possible. If you are unable to check-in during the times posted, please be sure to check-in at the sales tent at least one hour prior to your tee time at the course where you will be competing on the first day of competition. You will receive your players package along with important course/tournament information that you will need for the week.

Tee-times should be posted by this Wednesday, February 27th.

What is the refund policy for the 2008 Memorial?

While we sincerely hope that everyone who registers will be able to play, the AZDGC understands that stuff happens! To cancel your participation in this event and receive a refund, contact the AZDGC directly at 480-946-9509. Cancellation requests received by February 25th will receive a full registration fee refund. From February 26th - March 3rd, cancellations will receive a half-fee refund. If you do not contact the AZDGC prior to March 4th to cancel your registration, your entry fees are non-refundable.

I've made travel plans, but I haven't sent in my registration fees. What happens now?

The AZDGC strongly suggests that you do not make travel plans until you have paid your entry fees and verified that they have been received. We are under no obligation to allow you to participate in this event because you made plans without verifying your registration.

When will registration open?

We are working on opening registration around the middle of November.

Why go to a Thursday-Saturday format?

There were many factors that went into the decision. We wanted to give people a travel day on Sunday. Many awards ceremonies have been poorly attended because of people rushing to the airport right after their round. We also know that a lot of people consider the Memorial not just a tournament but a vacation destination and many are already in town as early as Mon., Tues. or Weds. It is going to be an adjustment but one that we are confident people will enjoy in the long run.

Why are you going to trophy only for Amateurs?

We are moving in the direction of trophy only, with the support of the PDGA, to help bring in more new people to the sport. We feel that by paying out the same amount to 100% of the field instead of just the top 40% is going to be the future of amateur disc golf.

What will be in the players package?

The players' package items are being lined up, will be assembled before the event and can be picked up at check-in. We are sure folks will be happy with the items that will be put together for the packages.
